Fighting Food Waste with “Too Good to Go”

Il Gallo Cedrone recommends signing up to the “Too Good to Go” initiative.
Our mission is to ensure that food is eaten rather than wasted. More than a third of food produced worldwide is wasted, a figure which reflects terribly on our planet.
Food waste is responsible for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions, and the production of food which ends up being thrown away takes up an area of land the size of China.
The app “Too Good to Go” to combat food waste allows users to save food which is still perfectly good but which has gone unsold, to prevent it being thrown away.
